Dual purpose leisure batteries offer both good cycle life and good cranking ability where both might be needed. They are also excellent for leisure use where light to moderate cycling is required. Please see individual batteries for specifications and cycle life details.

 

The term "DUAL PURPOSE" can be applied to many different batteries as most leisure batteries and deep cycle batteries will have some level of cranking ability. Here we have only selected the batteries that have an adequate level of cranking for their size and are also designed to be used in leisure applications so can be termed "Dual Purpose".
